Southern Rubber Company, Inc. was chartered in 1925 as the Carolinas' pioneer rubber house. In the beginning, our primary focus was oil jobber supplies and automobile tires, but as more industries
located in the South, Southern Rubber Company, Inc. began to diversify, becoming a major industrial rubber supply force. Over the years we have added an ultra modern fabrication department which utilizes computer operated presses, slitting machines, and an in-house tool and die shop. We have a quality control program that utilizes S.P.C. to ensure that specifications are met. We have added
printing on fabricated parts, which has given Southern Rubber Company the ability to fully serve our customers fabrication needs.

Southern Rubber Company's, Inc., manufacturing and converting capabilities encompass many areas
of the gasket and rubber industries. In our converting area we have ability to laminate numerous pressure sensitive adhesives to various substrates such as sponge, foam and solid elastomers. Our fabrication department can slit various materials to your specifications. The die cutting shop includes several Preco Presses with the ability to kiss cut or cut through, using steel rule dies. We have several larger presses enabling us to cut parts up to 72" wide. Within our hand cut department we have the capability to meet your prototype development. We also have the ability to custom print on parts such
as electrical wiring diagrams. From one piece to millions, Southern Rubber Company Inc. can service
the smallest of companies to the largest industries in helping them meet their gasketing requirements.

Another facet of our manufacturing here at Southern Rubber Inc., includes the molding of urethane.
Our tough, abrasion resistant material lasts significantly longer than most rubbers and plastics. Using your part, we have the ability to make soft molds or hard tooling for repetitive parts. Roll covering capabilities include precision grinding to tight tolerances, variety of colors, re-covering existing rollers, and hardness from 20A to 100A. From prototype to production we have the ability to meet your
exacting needs.
